Our Aim

Locals United has been created with the idea of acting with kindness and standing together in this unprecedented time.

Our aim is to build a marketplace where local businesses and charities can offer new products and services for their loyal supporters who can help them get through this challenging time.

How it will work

Teams will set up pages; there they can promote who they are and list their new services and products.

If they do not have any new services they could offer supporters buy gift vouchers or ask for donations to cover their running costs.

Supporters can then find their favourite Teams and show their support by continuing to be a loyal customer by purchasing and supporting their Team's new services and products.

Transparency and working together

Our goal is to also add transparency and a feeling of working together to get through this hard time. We will do this by allowing businesses to show their running costs so supporters can see what revenue the business needs to survive month-to-month.

If a business reaches their goal then they too can participate in this supporting economy by passing on funds to other local businesses and charities who too are affected.

We will lead by example and participate in this new sharing economy, passing on funds that exceed our needs and helping those businesses and charities we support.

A little about Locals United

Locals United is currently a one person project so please bear with me whilst I get this setup. Above I stated our goal however we will be starting this in a more manual way to try to get this in the hands of those that need it as soon as possible.
